DNS.be has introduced IDNs to the public. This was announced by Belgian ccTLD registry operator. Characters from all the official Belgian languages Dutch, French and German, and other European languages, such as Swedish, Danish and Finnish will be available. The registry is planning to allow registrants to use the following characters:
ß, à, á, â, ã, ó, ô, þ, ü, ú, ð, ä, å, ï, ç, è, õ, ö, ÿ, ý, ò, æ, é, ê, ë, ì, í, ø, ù, î, û, ñ, œ.
There will not be a sunrise period, but trademark owners can register first!
