The second company, Far Further, to announce plans to apply to ICANN’s .music top level domain. The first applicant that went public is Constatine Roussos’ dotmusic. Far Further, headed by bigwigs Loren Balman and John Styll, is hoping this will provide a secure place on the internet for the music community. The RIAA is concerned that .music domains maybe on the tail end of lawsuits concerning music piracy. The most interesting selection from Far Father is the companies partnership with back-end technology services provider eNom, the worlds second largest domain register.
