Google just published a Spanish-language video about .SOY. Soy, translated to English, means, “I am” and should do very well as a useful new gTLD for Spanish speakers. I’d buy a domain with the ending, “I am”. It makes a lot of sense; Joe.Iam. In fact, isn’t that kind of what Wil.i.am did with his domain hack?
Here’s the new video. I think they did a nice job…
The text under the video is in Spanish and roughly translates to:
“.I AM” – Presenting a new domain name for the Latino community. The web is growing and .SOY (.I AM) is a new way to express yourself online. For your website to your art, your business, or your ideas. using a .SOY is a great way to express and share.
Some people have already started building sites on .SOY. From food blogging to tech non-profits, Hispanic advertising to Latina leadership, Universal Studios has brought 2 movies to the Internet using .SOY, unbroken.soy and fiftyshades.soy.
.SOY domains are available on 101domain at https://101domain.com/soy.htm.
