ICM is extending its Sunrise period as .XXX domain names peak interest at one million. The period starts for 50 days after September 7th, due to high interest volume. The sunrise period is designated to permit domain registration from members in the adult industry and to assist brand managers from other industries who want to protect their trade marks. After the Sunrise period a Landrush period will run for 18 days where businesses from the adult entertainment industry will have access to the remaining domain names.
