Chehade in Toronto
Dr. Stephen Crocker introduced the 45th annual ICANN meeting in Toronto with an overview of the communication technology in Canada. ICANN CEO Fadi Chehade spoke directly after Crocker, and started to speak about how ICANN needed to grow to be scalable on global level. He went on to say that ICANN had a lot of things to work on and that changes needed to happen, and they have a three year strategic plan that they have been working on. Their main aspirations would be to have; affirmation of purpose; operations excellence; internationalization; and finally, evolution of the multistakeholder model. To read further click here.
