Go Daddy Split in Three
The largest registrar in the world, Go Daddy, has been sold for 2.25 billion dollars to a trio of private equity firms for 2.25 billon. KKR & Co., Silver Lake Partners and Technology Crossover Ventures, according to sources will assume all the debt of the company and founder and chief executive officer Bob Parsons will keep a minor stake in the company. The three companies are hoping to benefit from Go Daddies 9.3 million customers and the expansion of the internet.
