World of Warcraft is now making a big drive for the adoption of IPv6 for users. The latest version of the online player game, with 12 million subscribers, has the option for players to “enable IPv6 when available.” Big companies like Google, Facebook, Yahoo, and Akamai have signed up for IPv6 test-run day.  This mass migration for new internet protocols is enabling faster network speeds,  better quality of service, and higher security measures ensuring better game play for War of Warcraft players. Hopefully the bandwagon for IPv6 will be spurred with all the followers of War of Warcraft and the bigger companies who are giving IPv6 a chance. For more information click here.
