A new invention called AdTrap created by Charles Butkus and Chad Russell, designed to block advertisements before they reach any Internet streaming devices. This could be a disaster for companies who rely on hits to satisfy advertiser stipulations. The AdTrap could be the same disaster that the DVR did to television companies when consumers began to skip commercials. The device was created by the idea that the Internet should return to the early days of the Internet. The device is available for $139 dollars sporting the slogan “the Internet is yours again”.
